Event returns after a two-year hiatus

The DOWNTOWN EVANSVILLE – Economic Improvement District (EID) is hosting the Wine Walk Presented by Romain Cadillac on Friday September 24 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM on the 200 and 300 Blocks of Main Street.

New for 2021, wines poured during the event will be exclusively from Oliver Winery in Bloomington, Indiana. All wines will be poured outside on Main Street. Enjoy wine, shopping, live music, fire performers, photo points, and a magic show. The event is for guests 21 years of age and older. Tickets are $15 per person and include 4 samples of Oliver wine, four tickets, a commemorative glass, and a passport.

Guests will redeem their tickets at tents on the 200 and 300 Blocks of Main Street. Each ticket is eligible for a two-ounce wine sample. Guests will visit shops on the passport and receive a stamp at each location. One person will be drawn from the stamped passports to receive a prize pack of Downtown Evansville merchandise and giveaway items from businesses. Tickets can be purchased online now for $15 per person. Ticket sales increase to $20 per person the night of the event.

“The Wine Walk is one of our most popular events. Our number of attendees has increased eightfold since our first event in 2017. We’re offering a new experience this year with our Oliver Winery partnership; they’ll be pouring their popular wines on Main Street. We invite the community to shop and dine Downtown during this signature event,” said Josh Armstrong, president, EID.

Ticket registration will take place at 318 Main Street. Proceeds from the walk will be used to help decorate Downtown for the holiday season. Visit DowntownEvansville.com/WineWalk or Downtown Evansville Indiana on social media for event details and to purchase tickets.
