Blue Öyster Cult

For over 50 years, New York’s Blue Öyster Cult have been making sci-fi progressive hard rock. Their biggest hit “Don’t Fear the Reaper” has been heard on The Stand TV movie, Gone Girl, and the SNL “More Cowbell” sketch. Fronted by longtime members Eric Bloom and Buck Dharma, their fifteenth studio album The Symbol Remains was released last year.

Ramona Art & Wine Festival

The Ramona Art and Wine Festival includes art, wine, and food. The festival is also auctioning five wine barrels including this one.

Nine wineries participating in a three-day progressive event. Each winery will provide three wine tastings paired with a gourmet bite prepared by five caterers. Art, jewelry, and hand-made/hand-painted items will be on sale. Basket auction items will be on display at the wineries for interested bidders to review prior to final bidding. The festival is auctioning five wine barrels designed by artists: a drink serving center, Romona grasslands, tree art, Ramona scenes, and a barrel dog house.

When: Friday through Sunday, November 5 through 7, 11 am to 5 pm

Pink Sweat$ And Kirby

Son of a Minister and a Gospel Singer, Pink Sweat$ brings his soulful R&B catalog to the House of Blues.

Soulful Philadelphia pop singer David Bowden, aka Pink Sweat$, released his debut EP Volume 1 in 2018, preceded by the surprise hit single “Honesty,” an acoustic ballad. Currently signed to Atlantic Records, the artist (who always wears pink) released his debut album, Pink Planet, in February. The bill includes R&B singer Kirby.
