The wineries of Jumilla offer fascinating guided tours and tastings all year round

As part of their continuing efforts to promote wine tourism in and around the municipality, representatives of the Ruta del Vino de Jumilla have been taking part this week in the FINE WineTourismExpo event in Valladolid.

The event was held on March 1 and 2, and the team from Jumilla presented the local bodegas to numerous tour operators, travel agents and other professionals within the wine tourism sector as well as learning about strategies used by other wine routes to generate more custom.

The Jumilla delegates accompanied other wine routes in the region of Castilla-La Mancha on the same stand: although Jumilla itself is in the north of the Region of Murcia, many of the bodegas producing D.O. Jumilla wines are located in the south of the province of Albacete.
